Living Carbon is a 100% non-profit owned carbon offset development company, specializing in conservation offsets—the ’100 mile offset.’

We are the enterprise arm of the Land Trust Alliance of British Columbia, established in May 2010 to assist conservation organizations, local governments, first nations and other landowning groups to conserve and restore land by developing conservation offset projects.

We help people buy & conserve forests by using a financial tool set up by the UN to reduce carbon emissions through the conservation of natural ecosystems.

Because we are wholly-owned by community groups, we are seeking to generate the highest value and greatest returns for nature and communities and set the highest standards in carbon offsets.
